I recently bought, built, and gifted a house in one day. Granted, it was for a toddler and made of foam, but I'll take the win! Especially because it was a present for my granddaughter Eleanor on her first birthday and she loves it.
The box said it was for three years and up, so we were a bit concerned she would be too young to enjoy it. I'm not sure if it's because she is so smart (between you and me, I'm positive she's brilliant), but she knows exactly what to do with it. She goes inside and sits on the little benches. She reaches through the open windows to pluck foam flowers from the planter box so she can bite them. She takes toys into the house to play with. She crawls from one end to the other. She plays peek-a-boo from inside and enjoys having a snack while sitting on one of her benches. I'm not sure about the rest of you out there with toddlers or grandchildren, but with the exception of picking foam flowers, that's pretty much what I do in my house these days!
